If you need help with anything which is not in this list, feel free to contact us anyway! It does not cost anything: in the worst case, we will answer that we are sorry but we can’t help you; but we might be able to do something!Of course, we are not alone to have good ideas, and many agencies provide this kind of service. The difference is that we develop a relationship, more than a business, between you and us: we already earn a salary with our jobs, and our goal is not only to help YOU but also to meet new people. ^^

TRANSLATION
A letter of recommendation from your previous employer to translate in French or in Chinese? A contract of employment or internship to translate in English? You can have a really good first idea with the extraordinary translation tools available on the internet, but you will quickly reach their limits. Especially if you are going to send your text to someone… You can also do it yourself, it will be a very interesting exercise to master a little bit more of the foreign language you are about to master. But if you need our help, no worries! We are not professional but we are native French –for Tom– and Chinese –for Amber– speakers, with some abilities for languages (we also speak a bit of Spanish –Tom– and Japanese –Amber–), and after several months in Australia this kind of exercise is really not a problem: the whole day we speak and write in English only, at work and at home!
Just be careful on one point: our translations don’t have legal value for any official document (for that, you have to have a look to the French or Taiwanese official websites and see what kind of translation is ok or not).
JOBS: RESUME / COVER LETTER
If you are seeking an unqualified job, it will be the same as Australia: your looking and the first contact will be more important than any piece of sheet you could give (really, even some objectively disastrous resume didn’t prevent their authors to find a job!). If you are seeking a more precise job (architect or cook, for instance…), your resume and your cover letter will become not only indispensable, but also a real occasion to make the difference with the hundreds other resumes that your future employer probably receives every week. Nothing new, it’s the same thing everywhere… The difference is the structure of the resume, clearly less detailed and more concise than the Australian one, so it can be useful to rely on our experience in job searching in France and in Taiwan!
PORTFOLIO (BOOK) – available for FRANCE only
Specificity of the « artistic » jobs (designer, architect…), the book, or portfolio. For this as well, the French companies are as demanding as are the Australian ones: a good portfolio will open many doors, but an average one won’t allow you just to talk to someone! Generally, in our professions we know how to make quite good portfolios. However, the eye of someone who has been working 10 years in France and has seen many resume can be very useful: check of the specific vocabulary, suggestion for the content or the order, partial translations…
WHAT ELSE?
With some time in a country, you can feel the quality of the different offer (words used, details given…), and guess with a good accuracy which one is serious and which one is not (yes, incredible but true, in France and Taiwan also not everybody is good!). For that also we can help, feel free to ask us!
JOBS: GRAPHISM
You don’t feel inspiration for graphics ? Or you simply don’t have time or you can’t stand computer’s software (unless they can’t stand you?…), we can take in charge the creation of your resume, in a French / Taiwanese way, and we also can propose you a structure for your cover letter, depending on your background and your goal.
And same, even if the portfolio is usually something very personal, which reflect your own personality, we can create it from A to Z, and take into account your graphics preferences. We can even create a website for you, in order to broadcast more efficiently and more professionally your curriculum.

Of course, as nearly everywhere in the world, French and Taiwanese airports are connected to the cities with the public transports… However, if you’ve got very heavy luggage or if you are afraid to be lost (Paris and Taipei are much bigger cities than Sydney!), we may organize a pick-up for you (the price may vary depending on the precise location of your accommodation and on the toll road).
Obviously, this offer only depends on our friends and family, and on their own availability. So we must confirm each case before anything…
# Help for booking your accommodation:
If you are not sure of where you are going to land, or if your Australian credit card add too much fees, we can book whatever you want (and help you to choose one) for you.
# Transfer of money
We know, nowadays people use offshore companies in Panama or Hong-Kong, and Swiss bank accounts to transfer money between two countries… Unfortunately, we are not so sophisticated, we just have kept our bank accounts in French banks and in Taiwanese banks, in addition of course of our Australian bank accounts.
So if you don’t have any French or Taiwanese bank account and if you need for some reason (tax return, need a bit of money before leaving…) to transfer money between these countries, we can do that for you.
