main facade in resin, with openings which refers to sections of books.

the extension takes place on either side of an existing wing, freeing a space dedicated to furniture and services.

the other facades are patterned to remind archive store shelving. The "triangle base" volume was chosen to match the existing shape.

For the extension and thermal upgrade of the Archives building, we designed a compact project, with optimised staging for relocation and renovation. Facades in resin are designed to give a nice urban visibility to this facility.

Program: Space planning of 14 new archives stores (17 linear km) and thermal upgrade of the 20 existing stores (23 linear km).
